Throwback Thursday! Thats still a thing, right? The goal for this shoot was to put together a very spring styled shoot with a touch of southern. We had seen some posts on Pinterest for yellow & blue editorial shoots/weddings and we honestly were ready to take on the challenge of putting those together without it looking like an Easter egg. Part of the draw to the idea of blue and yellow was our very first editorial shoot we planned was dusty blue and its hands down still one of our favorite shoots.
We were so excited to have Bannerville Oaks Farm agree to host this shoot. They not only are a venue but do in house florals too. Yellow and blue is not an easy combination to work with and Jillian killed it! Amber and Miguel were our original couple we picked (pictured above) because Amber is the owner of Bella Balanced Beauty and wellness, one of our hair and makeup artists in Tampa Bay and loves to travel to meet more vendors! With Covid 19 happening hair and makeup artists weren’t allowed to work while we were originally planning this shoot so having a professional hair and makeup artist as a model was perfect! She looked stunning in this Mr. Pretty skirt! We were fortunate enough to have jewelry provided by a local Jacksonville jeweler, Faith jewelers.

All the Sweet things
Sweets by Staci made a beautiful cake for this shoot! We like the water color effect as well as the gold flakes. The yellow macaroons by Alishas Baked Goodness in the blue martini glasses were an extra special touch and super yummy! The yellow macrame really were the perfect way to subtly complete for the cake table in this yellow & blue editorial workshop.
